Here we have compiled some of the most frequently asked questions. This list to this will grow as we gather more questions.

Data Infomation

The data is extracted from various publicly available sources, including HDB, URA, and data.gov.sg.

It varies from each data type, as some of them do not regularly change (MRT stations for example). Update schedule is as follows:

On an Adhoc Basis:
  • Parks
  • Shopping Centers
  • MRTs
  • Supermarkets
  • Hawker Centers
  • Schools

For such adhoc data, we will update if we are aware of an update required. (For example, new MRT stations). In addition do to scan the public data available online on a quarterly basis to maintain the data quality.

On a monthly Basis:
Data will be updated on the 10th every month(If it falls on a weekend or a public holiday, it will be updated on the next working day)
  • HDB Transaction Data
  • Private Transaction Data
  • Underlying Graph Data
On a half-yearly Basis:
  • Geolocation Data

Here at dreamsofhome.sg, we do our best to make sure that the data is up to date, direct from the source and as accurate as possible.

Data use and restrictions

Our website provides a range of analytics and insights to help you make informed decisions about property-related matters. Some of the analytics and insights that you can expect to gain from our website include:

  • Neighborhood insights - Our website provides data on local amenities, schools, crime rates, and other factors that can impact property values.
  • Comparisons - We enable you to compare different properties and neighborhoods based on various factors, such as price, size, location, and features.
  • Scoring - We provide a way for you to determine and compare the attractiveness of the property, via our Dreamscore algorithm.

You can only use your own generated maps and graphs for your own commerical use.

We understand that our users may have a need to export the data displayed on our website for their own use.
At this time however, we do not offer a built-in feature for exporting data.

Yes, there may be some restrictions or limitations to the use of our website and the data provided on it.

Our website and the data displayed on it are intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Any commercial use or reproduction of the data or content on our website,other than generated via our Saas Product, without our prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

Additionally, we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the data displayed on our website, and we are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our website or the data provided on it. By accessing and using our website, you agree to comply with our terms of use and privacy policy.

Tokens, Graphs and Maps

Tokens are the currency of dreamsofhome.sg. We use tokens to calculate the generation cost of the map/graph, as well as the monthly refresh cost.

Subscription tokens are refreshed on the 10th every month, following the property info data update.

Each map/graph on generation will be available for 40 days, and that duration is refreshed if the refresh status is set to active. (Settings are done in your main profile page).

Data used to generate each map/graph will be refreshed to the latest instance upon refresh.

Existing maps/graphs will be refreshed on the 10th every month, following the refresh of the subscription tokens.
